Welcome to the Port Cunnington Lodge website (the “Site”). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this Site or making a reservation at Port Cunnington Lodge, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

2. Reservations and Deposits

  • Deposit Requirements: A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking for all reservations. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival.

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and other forms of payment as specified during the booking process.

  • Rates: All rates are subject to change without notice. Rates do not include applicable taxes (HST) or the 8% resort fee unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Spring & Fall Bookings: Cancellation requires at least 14 days’ notice prior to arrival for a deposit refund.

  • Peak Season (July & August): Cancellation requires at least 60 days’ notice prior to arrival for a deposit refund.

  • Administration Fee: A non-refundable $50.00 administration fee applies to all cancellations.

  • Late Arrivals/Early Departures: No refunds or credits will be issued for late arrivals or early departures.

4. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-In: Starts at 4:00 PM. If you expect to arrive after 9:00 PM, please notify the front office in advance.

  • Check-Out: Must be completed by 10:00 AM. Late check-outs may be subject to a half-day charge.

5. Resort Policies and Conduct

  • Smoking: All indoor accommodations at Port Cunnington Lodge are non-smoking.

  • Pets: Please refer to our specific pet policy or contact the Lodge directly before booking, as certain units may have restrictions.

  • Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room, cottage, or resort property during their stay and will be charged accordingly.

  • Lost Items: While we make every effort to recover lost items, Port Cunnington Lodge is not responsible for items left behind. Items can be returned at the guest’s expense if reported within 7 days of departure.

6. Use of Amenities

Use of resort facilities (e.g., canoes, kayaks, tennis courts, gym, and hiking trails) is at the guest’s own risk. Port Cunnington Lodge is not liable for injuries sustained while using resort equipment or participating in on-site activities.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Port Cunnington Lodge and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use of this content is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

Port Cunnington Lodge shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your stay at the resort, including but not limited to loss of personal property or personal injury, except where required by law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
