Since the earliest days of the grand waterfront resorts, fine dining has been an essential part of the classic Muskoka experience. Continue this tradition at Port Cunnington Lodge where we have been serving guests the finest meals for over one hundred years. Make your stay special by indulging in our exclusive menu and experiencing our understated luxury.
Our historic lakeside dining room is located in our Main Lodge, which was built in 1890. The room has vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, blending classic Muskoka architecture with a modern flair. High dormer windows allow light to blanket the space, while the tall, main floor windows provide expansive views over the beautiful Lake of Bays. During the day the dining room is vibrant and bright – the perfect space for leisurely meals shared with friends and family. When the sun sets, candles and soft lighting provide an intimate atmosphere to share with that special someone.
Our talented culinary team marries Muskoka tradition with modern cuisine. Changing with the seasons, there is always a freshly prepared dish to entice you into a new culinary adventure. The 2023 Season will provide a Breakfast Buffet from 8:30am – 9:30 am & 3 Course Dinner offering from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm daily. (reservations are required and based on availability)

Thursday evenings through the summer, enjoy a truly unique Muskoka experience with a cruise aboard the SS Bigwin. Built in 1910, the fully restored steamship was used between 1925 and 1970 to ferry passengers and golfers to the famous Bigwin Island. The ship has a covered space for relaxing as well as an upper deck for taking in the expansive vistas of Lake of Bays. After your cruise, enjoy a Station Buffet meal in our lakeside dining room.
